Harmony Day

On Wednesday, 21 March, Mount Cotton SS celebrated Harmony Day. This is a day where we celebrate and recognise the diverse and multicultural society in which we live. The promotes peace and harmony and embraces differences. Students were invited to dress in a costume from another country or to simply dress in orange, the colour of Harmony Day.

We celebrated by having a whole school assembly with a presentation by 1C, explanation of what Harmony Day means and a parade of the costumes students had worn to school.

We then had a whole school picnic with the older students having morning tea with their buddies.
